Clubs at Lyseth
We’re delighted to announce our club offerings for Trimester 1 of our enrichment programming. Clubs are slated to start the and end the week of October 19th.
You can access the interest form here. You will have until Monday, October 12 to complete the form and indicate which clubs your student is interested in joining. If there are enough seats, all students interested in a given club will get in. If more students indicate interest than there are seats, we will go to a lottery. You will be notified within 48 hours after the interest forms close about the clubs your student has been invited to join. If your student did not receive a seat in a club, you will be notified via email and placed on a waitlist. Please check your spam or junk folder as our messages sometimes end up there.

Lego Club A with Iris Vasquez Portillo
LEGO Club is a fun and creative space for students in grades K-3 to build, explore, and use their imaginations. Students will have opportunities for free play and independent design while also working alongside their peers. Through building and creating together, students will practice important social skills such as communication, cooperation, sharing, problem-solving, and teamwork

Girls on the Mat (Yoga Club) with Laurie Cloutier and Sarah Whybark
Girls on the Mat is a yoga club designed for 4th and 5th grade girls and non-binary students to explore both the physical and mental practice of yoga. Through movement, breath, balance, mindfulness, and relaxation, we’ll build strength, confidence, focus, and self-awareness. We’ll also connect our yoga practice to girl power—celebrating our strengths, supporting one another, and learning that being strong can look and feel different for everyone.
Come move, breathe, stretch, and grow together on the mat!

Flag Rugby Club with Dominic Tracey and Valerie Green
Join us Tuesday mornings for a fun, fast-paced introduction to flag rugby! Students in grades 3–5 will learn the basics of rugby through games and activities that build teamwork, movement skills, and confidence. No rugby experience is needed—just come ready to run, play, and have fun!

After School Outdoor Flag Rugby Club with Dominic Tracey and Jeff Dalzell
Get outside and play flag rugby after school on Wednesdays! Students in grades 3–5 will spend most of the session playing fun, fast-paced flag rugby games while learning teamwork and rugby skills along the way.

Drop Everything and DRAW! Deena Ball
Young artists will use the shapes , letters and numbers, which they already know how to make
to draw a variety of subjects. We will work on a topic for a few sessions using a step by step format with time to personalize each creation. Possible topics may be : medieval times (castles, knights, princesses), Under the sea, Journey to space, fantasy monsters, and animals.
The goal of Drop everything and DRAW is to ensure that every child is a confident young artist.
